For acrylics and other water-miscible paints, use Masterson's patented Sta-Wet Premier Acrylic Paper and Sponge. (Sold separately) The sponge, when moistened and combined with Masterson's Acrylic Palette Paper, maintains a moist "atmosphere" inside the Artist Palette Seal. You will be ready to continue painting up to weeks later when you store your paints in a patented Masterson storage container.

Essential for acrylic painting

I've tried all sorts of work-arounds, but this palette is the best way to keep your acrylic paints moist for weeks. This is actually the palette for oil paint, but I use wet micro fibre cloths with baking paper over the top as my palette. Masterson make a sponge and palette paper version, but I have found the sponge eventually deteriorates, so I use the method I've described here with the oil palette, which comes without a sponge.
