The Volume 223 pencils pay tribute to Guthrie's dreamlike vision of America, matching a ribbon of highway with a golden valley and a bright blue strip of endless skyway, capped off with a matte black ferrule and an earth-toned eraser in keeping with the dusty trails he traveled.
